About Us

Sandy has been riding since she was five years old.  Born and raised in Tulsa, OK she received her first horse at the age of eight and has not been without one since.

She has shown horses in Western, English and Gymkhana events, and at the National Western Stock Show.  She has worked as a wrangler and trail guide, her favorite type of riding.  She most enjoys training people to train their horses.

When she attended a John Lyons symposium in Indiana, she found a training method that made since to her.  His condition response training is a completely humane teaching method.  She soon enrolled in his Trainers Certification Program, and graduated in July 1994.  She has been training and teaching full time ever since.  She enjoys teaching both horse and rider to become fluid, moving “dancing partners.”

In 1995 she and her husband Dan purchased a 300-acre horse ranch outside of Greybull, WY where she offers training, riding lessons, and a therapeutic riding program.
